Marabu Varnishes, Mediums & Glue

Superior, colourless resin-based varnish containing organic solvent for hobby, leisure and school use. Suitable as a wipe- and weatherproof film coating for all Marabu paints. Touch-dry in about 30 mins. Excellent adhesion to board, wood, glass, metal, stone, rigid fibre board and self-curing modelling pastes, for example. Clean equipment with Marabu-Cleaner & Thinner or white spirit.

Not suitable for varnishing solvent-based paints.

Water based Marabu varnishes are ideal for nursery, school, hobby and leisure use for varnishing on paper, board, self-curing modelling pastes, wood, glass, metal, stone, rigid fibre board etc. as well as for the serviette technique. The transparent protective film coating is suitable for varnishing all weatherproof Marabu paints and is touch-dry after some 30 mins. Saliva-resistant. Clean brushes straight after use in water. If well adhered, the Marabu-aqua-varnishes are weather-proof and resistant to light.

In the jar and when applying, all three aqua varnish types appear milky. Once dry, the required effects - transparent gloss, matt or satin matt - will appear. Not suitable for varnishing paints and materials which are slightly water-soluble after drying.

Serviette technique, or decoupage is the technique of sticking and varnishing designs on paper to objects such as boxes, pots, textiles etc.

Clear, matt/gloss varnish and glue for the serviette technique - water-based. Ideal for the ironing technique as well. Weather-resistant, resistant to light. Touch-dry after about 30 minutes. Clean brushes with water immediately after use. Always test before use. Stir before use.

Advice

Not suitable for varnishing solvent-based paints or oil colours.
